Here you will find information concerning our church and its ministries. We hope you find your time spent here a blessing. Our church is a warm and loving church, and we want you to feel comfortable and at liberty to call on us for anything you need. Feel free to browse through the various areas of our website and learn about our fellowship.

St. Augustine Parish offers a style of worship that incorporates traditional Catholic music along with spirituals and contemporary Gospel music from the African American community.  A "Children's Church" for pre-school through high school is also available at the 10:00 Mass on Sunday.  Children are dismissed after the opening prayer for directed reflection on the Word of God that is age appropriate and they return to their families at Preparation time.

If you are considering relocating to our area, we would love to have you be our guest.

Announcements
CHILDREN'S RELIGION CLASSES.

Our fall program will begin on Sunday, Sept. 18.  The children will be dismissed before the announcements and will be in class until about 12:30.  There will be a session for parents starting about 11 AM.  Classes will be held on the 1st and 3rd Sunday of each month.  MARK YOUR CALENDARS AND MAKE SURE YOU CHILDREN ARE PRESENT FOR THE CLASSES.

BACK TO SCHOOL SUPPLIES.

We are asking parishioners to bring "back to school supplies" to Church Aug. 14 and 21st.  ON AUG. 28 we are asking all children to bring their back packs/school bags to Church and after Mass we will distribute the school supplies and offer a special blessing for all of our students.  ALSO Pirtle's Ice Cream truck will be here to help us celebrate BACK TO SCHOOL.

PERSONAL CARE ITEMS.

Ms. Autumn Carey of the Parish is collecting personal care items to be given to people in shelters.  You are asked to bringf these items

that you may have at home to help Autmn in her project to help those in need.  There will be a box in the Church for you to place your items.

EVANGELIZATION COMMISSION.

The Commission will meet on Thursday, Aug. 25 at 6 PM.

ANNUAL PARISH BANQUET AND AUCTION.

Sunday, September 18th at the Shrine.  For information and tickets contact the Church Office at 274-0655.  Ads and patrons for the Program Book are also being solicited.

We are up-dating our Parish Roster and need to check to make sure our information is correct and complete.  If you have moved or changed your phone number please check the roster in Church or call the Church Office to make sure we have the correct information.  ALSO do we have the birth dates and wedding anniversaries of all in your family?  If your name does not appear in the bulletin for the correct month it is because we do not have the information in our data base.  Please call the Church Office and give us the information.
